Definition Addresses creativity in literary production, publications, music, production and performance, crafts, graphic media, dance, and drama.
Purposes Designed as an inventory of activities and accomplishments “generally” considered to be creative and grouped into six categories: literature, music, crafts, art, math and science, and performing arts.
Characteristics Listening to One's Inner Voice

Manual
Poor No manual, published as an article.

Validity
Fair Data were collected from 239 college students, freshmen through graduate students and then intuitively divided among six subscales.

Reliability
Fair Internal consistency ranges from .63 to .89 for the six scales.

Utility
Good Untimed this instrument can be administered to a group by any professional in about 20-30 minutes. It seems easy to administer and score.

Interpretation
Fair The article offers little support for the interpretation and application of the results. There is a brief explanation of and definition of the scores which is adequate for a research article but not general application of an instrument. There are 90 items.

Propriety
Poor Given that this represents a different approach to assessment, the inventory would have to be modified for different populations; more work is needed.

Reviews & Related Lit
CCL: With more development this could have been a useful instrument.
