Creative Learning Today Newsletter

Creative Learning Today is an electronic newsletter published by the Center for Creative Learning on an occasional basis.

The goals and purposes of Creative Learning Today are to:

  • Disseminate practical tips and strategies relating to practical applications of creative learning, CPS, problem-solving style, and talent development.
  • Share brief reviews of new books and resources directly related to the Center’s areas of professional interest.
  • Provide updates about Center for Creative Learning programs, products, resources, and services.
  • Announce opportunities for research and field-testing with new resources under development.
  • Promote networking among professionals interested in creativity, CPS, style, and talent development, with an emphasis on learning, teaching, and training.
  • Publish brief summaries and working papers on research in progress on creative learning, CPS, style, and talent development.

There is no charge for this publication. To receive an email notification when a new issue of Creative Learning Today is available, simply send an email (from the address at which you wish to receive the notification) to Info@CreativeLearning.com and write "Subscribe to CLT" in the header of the message. In the body of the message, please provide your name, professional position, organization, mailing address, and phone number. (Note: we do not sell or share any names or addresses from our list.)

We publish Creative Learning Today on an occasional basis with an irregular schedule. Each issue will be posted as a PDF file on this website. Call for Manuscripts and Reviews

We welcome brief manuscripts to consider for publication in future issues. Manuscripts should relate directly to topics within the Center’s areas of specialization: the CPS Version 6.1™ system and its tools, problem-solving style and applications of the VIEW instrument, or the Levels of Service (LoS) approach to talent development.

Original manuscripts ranging from 300 to 2500 words will be considered. The content may involve research, theory, or practical applications. We welcome articles that share successful applications that can be replicated by others. Short reviews (100 – 200 words) of new books in our areas of interest are also acceptable. Please do not send material that has previously been published elsewhere or that is currently under consideration or review for another publication.

To submit manuscripts, send them as Word documents attached to an email message to Dr. Donald Treffinger Don@CreativeLearning.com. In the body of your email message, please include your name, professional affiliation, mailing address, and phone number.
