Good Criterion validity is reported to range from .25 to .54 compared with teacher ratings. Construct validity was developed by including “items which describe the concomitant personality characteristics of creative children as assessed by other creativity ins

Reliability
Good Stability after 6 months was .56. Split-half reliability was .80, .86 and .88 for the 3 levels.

Utility
Excellent The measure can be administered to groups by any professional in about 20-45 minutes (depending on age.) Instructions are clear. Items call for yes or no responses to personality and biographical statements. Some are in a “non-creative” direction. Scoring is external.

Interpretation
Good Percentiles and NCE are based on the scores of 8000 students stratified by grade in rural, urban, and suburban settings with minority and white representation in five geographical areas. Some items seem to tap style instead of level. Some item analysis would be helpful.

Propriety
Good The manual does caution against misuse of the scores. It is available in Spanish.
